In Africa, the big five game animals are the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard, and White/Black rhinoceros. The members of the Big Five were chosen for the difficulty in hunting them and the degree of danger involved, rather than their size.

Bored of the typical 1990's style photographic images used to depict the Big 5 in Africa, I decided to create my own more modern version of these beautiful big beasts. The designs were printed onto fabric and turned into cushion covers, and I then also created a range of reusable placemats which could also be turned into face masks in just 3 easy steps. Each set of 5 placemats contained one of each of the Big 5 animals, and was then wrapped in plastic packaging.

These products were manufactured and sold under my label, Handmade By Me.
